{"revision":"c10276e953456835cdbb1f3a60d58ae1980be353","document":{"id":613,"path":"api-reference/scripts/c_SyntaxEditor.md","title":"JavaScript syntax editor","bundle":null,"doc_type":null,"release":"australia","body":"\n# JavaScript syntax editor\n\nThe JavaScript syntax editor provides support for editing JavaScript scripts.\n\nWith the JavaScript syntax editor, you can use the following features:\n\n-   JavaScript syntax coloring, indentation, line numbers, and automatic creation of closing braces and quotes\n-   Context menu for script includes, API, and tables\n-   Script macros for common code shortcuts\n-   Linting using the ESLint utility\n\n\\[Omitted image \"JavaScriptSyntaxEditor.png\"\\] Alt text: JavaScript code in the syntax editor\n\n## Configuring the syntax editor\n\nThe Syntax Editor plugin \\(com.glide.syntax\\_editor\\) is required to use this functionality.
