Configure a record producer to display the service as a catalog item in the Workplace Services catalog.\n\n## Before you begin\n\nRole required: sn\\_wsd\\_case.admin or sn\\_wsd\\_case.manager\n\n## Procedure\n\n1.  Navigate to **All** &gt; **Workplace Case Management** &gt; **Workplace Case Management - Setup** &gt; **Record producers**\n\n2.  Select **New**.\n\n3.  On the form, fill in the fields.\n\n<table id=\"table_ryz_lt3_smb\"><thead><tr><th>\n\nField\n\n</th><th>\n\nDescription\n\n</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>\n\nName\n\n</td><td>\n\nName of the record producer.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nTable name\n\n</td><td>\n\nWorkplace Case \\(sn\\_wsd\\_case\\_workplace\\_case\\) table that the record producer is associated with. **Note:** Make sure that the workplace case table for the record producer matches that of the associated workplace service.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nModel\n\n</td><td>\n\nProduct model table if relevant for the record producer.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nApplication\n\n</td><td>\n\nThis field is already set to `Workplace Case Management`.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nActive\n\n</td><td>\n\nOption to activate the record producer for use.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nPreview link\n\n</td><td>\n\nLink to preview how the record producer appears to users in the Workplace Service Delivery catalog\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nExpand help for all questions\n\n</td><td>\n\nSelect this option to enable users to expand help for all questions.\n\n</td></tr></tbody>\n</table>4.  Fill the following related lists fields appropriately:\n\n    -   **What it will contain**\n    -   **Accessibility**\n    -   **Generated Record Data**\n    -   **Portal Settings**\n5.  In the **What it will contain** related list, provide the following script:\n\n    ```\n    new sn_wsd_case.WSDServiceUtils(current, gs).createCaseFromProducer(producer, cat_item.sys_id);\n    ```\n\n6.  In the **Variables** related list, configure the variables for the Workplace Services catalog item as appropriate.\n\n    Variables collect information from the user, and are used to ask questions and map answers to fields. You can add as many variables as you need to the Workplace Services catalog item. Commonly used variables types include:\n\n    -   Checkbox\n    -   Multiple Choice\n    -   Reference\n    -   Select Box\n    -   Single Line Text\n    To learn more about the different types of variables and how to configure them, see [Types of service catalog variables](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/servicenow-platform/r_VariableTypes.md) Types of service catalog variables.\n\n7.
