Existing customers can upgrade to Mappedin version 1.11.0.\n\nRole required: sn\\_wsd\\_mappedin.admin\n\n**Note:** You can only import Mappedin maps. Before running an import, back up the building, floor, and spaces.\n\n## Procedure\n\n1.  Navigate to **All** &gt; **Workplace Core** &gt; **Administration** &gt; **Import a new building**.\n\n2.  Fill in the fields.\n\n<table id=\"table_l5h_yvp_zlb\"><thead><tr><th>\n\nField\n\n</th><th>\n\nDescription\n\n</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>\n\nNumber\n\n</td><td>\n\nA unique number automatically generated by the application that identifies the building.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nName\n\n</td><td>\n\nName of the building.**Note:** Be specific and have a consistent naming convention when naming your buildings.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nRegion\n\n</td><td>\n\nGeographic location of the building.Click the Lookup using list icon \\[Omitted image \"search-icon.png\"\\] Alt text: Lookup using list icon to view a list of regions you can select.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nSite\n\n</td><td>\n\nThe location of the building within a region.Click the Lookup using list icon \\[Omitted image \"search-icon.png\"\\] Alt text: Lookup using list icon to view a list of sites you can select.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nCampus\n\n</td><td>\n\nName of the campus if you have multiple buildings at a site.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nSelect a venue to import\n\n</td><td>\n\nThe name of the Mappedin venue you want to import.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nExternal ID\n\n</td><td>\n\nThe Mappedin external ID that represents the map you are importing. The value defaults to the name of the Mappedin venue.\n\n**Note:** After selecting a venue, do not change the External ID.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nActive\n\n</td><td>\n\nOption indicating whether this building is active.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nIs reservable\n\n</td><td>\n\nOption indicating whether a workplace user can reserve spaces for the building.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nManaged by group\n\n</td><td>\n\nThe group that manages the space reservation for the building.Click the Lookup using list icon \\[Omitted image \"search-icon.png\"\\] Alt text: Lookup using list icon to view a list of groups you can select.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nManaged by\n\n</td><td>\n\nThe workplace manager of the group that manages the space reservation for the building.Click the Lookup using list icon \\[Omitted image \"search-icon.png\"\\] Alt text: Lookup using list icon to view a list of group managers you can select.\n\n</td></tr></tbody>\n</table>3.  Click **Import**.\n\n    The **Import Building On-Demand** designer flow initiates. The **Floors**, **Areas**, and **Spaces** related list tabs appears. If values do not appear, try refreshing the form.\n\n4.  Review the imported Mappedin data and make corrections.\n\n5.
