{"revision":"c10276e953456835cdbb1f3a60d58ae1980be353","document":{"id":20346,"path":"integrate-applications/automation-center/create-action.md","title":"Create an action","bundle":null,"doc_type":null,"release":"australia","body":"\n# Create an action\n\nCreate an action to view and execute in Action Center to fix issues that cause automations to fail in Automation Center.\n\n## Before you begin\n\nRole required: sn\\_ac.automation\\_technical\\_user and sn\\_ac.automation\\_admin\n\n## Procedure\n\n1.  Navigate to **All** &gt; **Automation Center** &gt; **Build** &gt; **Actions**.\n\n2.  Select **New**.\n\n3.  On the Action Details form, fill in the fields.\n\n<table id=\"table_wgg_bww_fbc\"><thead><tr><th>\n\nField\n\n</th><th>\n\nDescription\n\n</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>\n\nNumber\n\n</td><td>\n\nUnique number that is auto-populated.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nApplication\n\n</td><td>\n\nScope of the action.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nName\n\n</td><td>\n\nIntuitive name for the action.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nCategory\n\n</td><td>\n\nSelect an action category that you want to associate with the action.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nType\n\n</td><td>\n\nSelect the type of action category that you want to associate with the action.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nAction Type\n\n</td><td>\n\nThe type of action that is created in Flow designer. The available values are **Flow/Subflow** and **Action**.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nAction\n\n</td><td>\n\nThe action that you have created in Flow Designer.**Note:** You cannot map one flow, subflow, or action created in Flow Designer to multiple actions in Automation Center.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nActive\n\n</td><td>\n\nThis is a non-editable field.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nEnable concurrent executions\n\n</td><td>\n\nSelect this option if you want to execute the same action concurrently in Action Center.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nDescription\n\n</td><td>\n\nDescription of the action.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nExecution instructions\n\n</td><td>\n\nAny execution instructions that you want to provide.\n\n</td></tr></tbody>\n</table>4.  Select **Submit** to save the action.\n\n5.  Select **Activate** only if there are no more changes expected for the associated action.\n\n    If you select **Activate**, you cannot make any other changes to the action configuration, that is the **Action Type** and **Action** fields.
