{"revision":"c10276e953456835cdbb1f3a60d58ae1980be353","document":{"id":20352,"path":"integrate-applications/automation-center/create-auto-source.md","title":"Create an automation source","bundle":null,"doc_type":null,"release":"australia","body":"\n# Create an automation source\n\nCreate an automation source to start importing data from any third-party tool.\n\n## Before you begin\n\nRole required: flow\\_designer, delegated\\_developer, sn\\_ac.automation\\_technical\\_user, or sn\\_ac.automation\\_admin\n\n## About this task\n\nThe following steps must be followed in the same order to create an automation source in Automation Center.\n\n## Procedure\n\n1.  Navigate to **Workspaces** > **Automation Center Workspace**.\n\n    The Automation Center dashboard is displayed.\n\n2.  Select the Connection Manager icon \\(\\[Omitted image \"con-manager.png\"\\] Alt text: Connection Manager icon\\) on the left.\n\n3.  Select **New source**.\n\n    The Add automation source page is displayed.
