{"revision":"c10276e953456835cdbb1f3a60d58ae1980be353","document":{"id":21558,"path":"integrate-applications/integration-hub/setup-qualtrics.md","title":"Set up the Qualtrics spoke","bundle":null,"doc_type":null,"release":"australia","body":"\n# Set up the Qualtrics spoke\n\nIntegrate the ServiceNow instance and Qualtrics by registering Qualtrics as an OAuth provider to authenticate ServiceNow requests.\n\n## Before you begin\n\n- Request an Integration Hub subscription.\n- Activate the Qualtrics spoke.\n- Role required: admin.\n\n## Obtain required details from Qualtrics account\n\nCopy and record the values of token, Organization ID, Client ID, and Client secret from your Qualtrics account for authentication.\n\n### Before you begin\n\nRole required: admin\n\n### Procedure\n\n1. Log in to your Qualtrics account as an admin.\n\n2. Navigate to **Account Settings** > **Qualtrics IDs**.\n\n3. Under **User**, copy and record the values of **Organization ID** and **Datacenter ID**.\n\n4. Under **Directories**, copy and record the value of **Default Directory**.\n\n5. Click the **OAuth Client Manager** tab.\n\n7. Click **Create Client**.\n\n8. On the form, fill the values.\n\n |Field|Description|\n |-----|-----------|\n |Name|Name to identify the client record.|\n |Scopes|Select `manage:all`.|\n |Grant Type|Select `Client Credentials`.|\n\n9. Copy and record these values for later use.\n\n\n## Configure a connection\n\nAdd and configure a Qualtrics connection to authenticate ServiceNow requests.\n\n### Before you begin\n\nRole required: admin\n\n### Procedure\n\n1. Navigate to **Process Automation** > **Flow Designer**.\n\n2. Click the **Connections** tab.\n\n3. \n\nConnection URL\n\n\n\nBase URL to connect to **Qualtrics**. Enter: `https:.qualtrics.com/API/v3`\n\n
\n\nX-API-TOKEN\n\n\n\nUnique token you had copied from the Qualtrics account settings.\n\n
\n\nOAuth Name\n\n\n\nName to identify the application registry record.\n\n
\n\nOAuth Client ID\n\n\n\nClient ID you had copied when you created a client in your Qualtrics account.\n\n
\n\nOAuth Client Secret\n\n\n\nClient Secret you had copied when you created a client in your Qualtrics account.\n\n
\n\nToken URL\n\n\n\nOAuth server token endpoint. Enter: `https://.qualtrics.com/oauth2/token`.**Note:** Select the Qualtrics data center based on your geographic location.\n\n
6. Click **Configure and Get OAuth Token**.\n\n\n### Result\n\nThe spoke is configured and ready to be used.\n\n## Configure system parameter\n\nConfigure the system parameter **sn\\_qualtrics\\_spoke.qualtrics\\_directory** and specify the Qualtrics Directory ID that can be used in the flows.\n\n### Before you begin\n\nRole required: admin.\n\n### Procedure\n\n1. In the filter navigator, enter `sys_properties.list`.\n\n2. Search and open the record with **Name** as **sn\\_qualtrics\\_spoke.qualtrics\\_directory**.\n\n3. In **Value**, specify the Qualtrics Directory ID.\n\n4. Click **Update**.\n\n\n"}}
