The default method, V1, stores data across six CMDB CI tables. V2, available starting with Data Collection for Oracle Global Licensing and Advisory Services version 1.12.0, is an alternative method optimized for large-scale or high-volume Oracle database environments that consolidates data into a single non-CMDB table. For more information about V2, see the \"Oracle GLAS Data Collection V2\" section.\n\n## Request apps on the Store\n\nVisit the [ServiceNow Store](https://store.servicenow.com/sn_appstore_store.do#!/store/home) to view all the available apps, and for information about submitting requests to the store. V2 optimizes database data collection for large-scale or high-volume Oracle database environments. The V2 method applies to database data collection only; middleware and Java data collection aren't affected.\n\nIn V2, the MID Server collects data from the Oracle GLAS scripts and uses the GlideRecord API to populate the Oracle GLAS Database Audit Data \\[sn\\_itom\\_oracleglas\\_glas\\_data\\_for\\_database\\] table directly. As a result, GLAS data appears in the Content field and not in the discovery payload. To verify data population, navigate to the Oracle GLAS Database Audit Data table and review the **Content** field. If data is missing or incomplete, see [MID Server ECC Queue](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/servicenow-platform/ecc-queue-mid-server.md) for information about accessing MID Server logs.\n\nV2 stores all database GLAS data in the Oracle GLAS Database Audit Data table. Each record directly references the Oracle Instance \\[cmdb\\_ci\\_db\\_ora\\_instance\\] table; in V1, this association is established through a CI relationship \\(see the \"V1 database CI relationships\" section\\).\n\nThe Oracle GLAS Data Collection V2 pattern extension populates the following fields in the Oracle GLAS Database Audit Data table:\n\n<table id=\"table_glas_v2_fields\"><thead><tr><th>\n\nField\n\n</th><th>\n\nDescription\n\n</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>\n\nHost Name \\[hostname\\]\n\n</td><td>\n\nHost name of the server running the Oracle instance.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nDB Name \\[dbname\\]\n\n</td><td>\n\nName of the Oracle database.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nType \\[type\\]\n\n</td><td>\n\nIdentifies the type of GLAS data stored in the record. Possible values:- ORCL\\_OVERVIEW\n- ORCL\\_DETAILS\n- ORCL\\_LICENSE\n- ORCL\\_SESSION\n- ORCL\\_OPTIONS\n- ORCL\\_DBA\\_USERS\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nOrder \\[order\\]\n\n</td><td>\n\nSequential order of the record. If the content for a type exceeds 10 megabytes \\(MB\\), it is stored in multiple records ordered sequentially starting from 0.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nContent \\[content\\]\n\n</td><td>\n\nCollected GLAS data for the record type. To enable V2 data collection, see [Enable the Oracle GLAS V2 data collection method](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/it-operations-management/discovery-and-service-mapping-patterns/enable-oracle-glas-v2-method.md).\n\n## Tuxedo middleware extension\n\nTuxedo license configuration and log files collected:\n\n- \\*\\_InstallLog.log\n- \\*ubbc\\*\n- bdmconfig\\*\n- comps.xml\n- dmconfig\\*\n- JSconfig.xml\n- lic.txt\n- registry.xml\n- tuxconfig\\*\n- tuxwsvr.ini\n\n**Note:** The asterisk represents one or more characters in the file name.\n\nProcesses collected:\n\n- BBL\n- DBBL\n- GWWS\n- JSH\n- JSL\n- TMJAVASVR\n- TMMETADATA\n\n## WebLogic middleware extension\n\nFiles collected:\n\n- beahomelist\n- biee-domain.xml\n- cluster.properties\n- comps.xml\n- config.xml\n- domain-registry.xml\n- opmn.xml\n- portalconfig.xml\n- pthome.xml\n- registry.xml\n- server.xml\n- sessions.xml\n- setupinfo.txt\n\nWebLogic processes and files collected for the following middleware products:\n\n- WebLogic\n- OAS\n- SOA\n- OBI\n- WebCenter\n- FormsReports\n\n|WebLogic|OAS|OBI|\n|--------|---|---|\n|startWebLogic|httpd|f90|iooomgrrmi|r30rbe32|rwrqm60|nqsserver|\n|java|apache|frmweb|javaw|r30rqm32|rwrqm|sawserver|\n|startWLS|java|ifbld60|java|r30run32|rwrun60|coreapplication\\_obijh1|\n|nodemanager|opmn|ifbld90|jre|r30sxc32|rwserver|nqscheduler|\n|beasvc|dis3|ifcgi60|oad|r30sxu32|rwsxc60|nqsclustercontroller|\n|beasvc64|dis4|ifcmp60|odisrv|rwbld60|rwsxu60|essbase|\n|beasvcX64|dis51pr|ifcmp90|ofcguard|rwbuilder|vdeserver|essvr|\n|oraclesvc|dis51ws|ifctrl60|oidrepld|rwcgi60|webcachea|essbasestudio|\n|opmn|dis51|ifdbg60|oidmon|rwcli60|webcached|hyperion|\n|wlsvc|dwfde61|ifrun60|oidldapd|rwcon60|webcache| |\n|wlsvc64|f45des|ifsrv60|opmn|rwconverter| | |\n|wlsvcX64|f45run|ifwdb60|r30cli32|rwisv60| | |\n|jmc|f50dbg32|ifweb60|r30con32|rwmts60| | |\n|httpd|f50run32|ifweb90|r30isv32|rwqmu60| | |\n|jrmc|f60|imapds|r30qmu32|rwrbe60| | |\n\n## Middleware CI relationships\n\n|CI|Relationship/Reference|CI|\n|---|----------------------|---|\n|cmdb\\_ci\\_ora\\_lms\\_overview|Contains::Contained by|cmdb\\_ci\\_linux\\_server|\n|cmdb\\_ci\\_config\\_file\\_tracked|Contains::Contained by|cmdb\\_ci\\_linux\\_server|\n\nThese relationships are created by a containment rule that describes the valid objects that the Linux CIs can contain.\n\n## Properties installed with the Middleware data collection application\n\nTo access the installed application properties, navigate to **All** &gt; **System Properties** &gt; **All Properties**.
