However, you can create events in a different domain by providing metadata values in the event HTTP request, including the URL, headers, request body \\(payload\\), and connector parameters.\n\nThe logged-in user or the MID Server user must have access to the provided domain. The connector resolves the domain based on the provided identifier and creates events in that domain.\n\nSystem properties provide the default metadata that sets the domain-separated table to identify the domain. For more information, see [Domain properties installed with Event Management](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/it-operations-management/event-management/installed-domain-properties.md).\n\n## Connector Exceptions\n\nYou cannot personalize domain separation for the following pull connectors:\n\n-   SCOM\n-   IBM Netcool \\(supports only IBM Netcool\\_v2\\)\n-   HPOM\n-   Hyperic\n\nYou cannot personalize domain separation for the following push connectors:\n\n-   SAP SolMan Transform Script\n-   bmcTrueSight Transform Script\n-   Transform Generic Events MID\n-   TransformEvents\\_xmlSample\n\n-   **[Configure domain separation for pull connector events](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/it-operations-management/event-management/personalize-domain-separation-pull-connectors.md)**  \nConfigure pull connectors to personalize domain separation of events so you can use them to create events in domains other than the user's currently logged-in or MID Server domain.\n-   **[Configure domain separation for push connector events](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/it-operations-management/event-management/personalize-domain-separation-push-connectors.md)**  \nConfigure push connectors to personalize domain separation of events so you can create events in different domains.\n\n**Parent Topic:**[Event Management Integrations](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/it-operations-management/event-management/c_EMEvent.md)\n\n**Related topics**  \n\n\n[Domain separation and Event Management](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/it-operations-management/event-management/domain-separation-event-management.md)\n\n"}}
