When domains are separated in Event Management, users can only see and manage alerts and events in their own \\(tenant\\) domain.\n\n## Before you begin\n\nRole required: evt\\_mgmt\\_admin and evt\\_mgmt\\_integration\n\n## About this task\n\nActivate the **Domain Support – Domain Extension Installer** plugin and configure the MID Server for Event Management.\n\nThe following Event Management features have limited domain separation support.\n\n<table id=\"table_owh_2j3_f5\"><thead><tr><th>\n\nFeature\n\n</th><th>\n\nSupport\n\n</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>\n\nEvent – alert flow\n\n</td><td>\n\nSupported. Separation is based on the domain user that sent events. User access is required for the credentials of the sending API events or in the configuration of the MID Server reporting events.\n\nIn a multi-domain environment, each MID Server can serve only one domain according to the integration user that it uses. In the configuration of the connector instance, make sure that the MID Server have same domain as Connector instance.\n\nTo configure pull connectors to support custom domain separation, see [Configure domain separation for pull connector events](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/it-operations-management/event-management/personalize-domain-separation-pull-connectors.md).\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nImpact calculation\n\n</td><td>\n\nSupported.Segregation is based on the manner in which CIs are segregated.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nApplication services\n\n</td><td>\n\nPartially supported. While editing alert management rules, users can only apply relevant workflows.\n\nFor more information on domain separation in the Flow Designer, see [Domain separation and Flow Designer.](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/build-workflows/flow-designer-domain-separation.md)\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nAlert Aggregation\n\n</td><td>\n\nSupported. In domain-separated environments, alert groups are created only for alerts in the same domain.\n\n</td></tr></tbody>\n</table>## Procedure\n\n1.  If it is not already active, activate the Domain Support – Domain Extension Installer plugin.\n\n2.  Configure the connector instance to be in the same domain as the MID Server.\n\n\n"}}
