For information about making custom artifacts selectable in Localization Workspace translation requests, see [Dynamic artifact detection in Localization Workspace](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/platform-administration/localization-workspace/lw-dynamic-artifact-detection.md).\n\n## Procedure\n\n1.  Ensure that you are in the application scope that you want for your custom artifact, and navigate to **All** &gt; **Localization Framework** &gt; **Artifact Configurations** \\[sn\\_lf\\_config\\].\n\n2.  Select **New**.\n\n3.  In the Artifact Configuration form, fill in the fields.\n\n<table id=\"table_uly_1hv_tnb\"><thead><tr><th>\n\nField\n\n</th><th>\n\nDescription\n\n</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>\n\nName\n\n</td><td>\n\nIdentifier of the artifact record.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nInternal name\n\n</td><td>\n\nAn internal name for the artifact.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nTable name\n\n</td><td>\n\nIdentifier of the table where information of the artifact is stored.
