EMR Provider Directory Sync is a new application.\n\n## EMR Provider Directory Sync highlights\n\n-   Keep Healthcare Operations organizations, business locations, practitioners, and care-team memberships in sync with a FHIR R4 server without manual maintenance.\n-   Import FHIR Organization, Location, Practitioner, and PractitionerRole resources on a configurable daily schedule, with delta syncs after the first full load.\n-   Track every sync run in a FHIR Sync Log, with per-resource status and record counts correlated by run.\n-   Classify imported organizations as internal or external business locations using an editable decision table.\n\nSee EMR Provider Directory Sync for more information.\n\n## EMR Provider Directory Sync features\n\n-   **How the FHIR sync works**\n\n    A scheduled job runs an orchestration subflow that imports the four FHIR resources in dependency order and upserts them into the Healthcare Operations data model, keyed on the FHIR resource ID.\n\n-   **Run the initial load**\n\n    After the initial full load, each run uses the previous successful run's timestamp as a watermark to import only resources changed since then.\n\n-   **Monitor and troubleshoot FHIR sync runs**\n\n    Each run records one FHIR Sync Log row per resource type, with status, processed and skipped counts, and a shared correlation ID, so admins can monitor and troubleshoot syncs.\n\n\n## Activation information\n\nInstall EMR Provider Directory Sync by requesting it from the ServiceNow Store. Visit the [ServiceNow Store](https://store.servicenow.com/sn_appstore_store.do#!/store/home) to view all the available apps, and for information about submitting requests to the store. For cumulative release notes information for all released apps, see the [ServiceNow Store version history release notes](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/r/store-release-notes/sn-store-release-notes.html).\n\nThis application depends on the HL7 FHIR Spoke and on the Healthcare Operations and Healthcare and Life Sciences data-model applications. For the full list, see Prerequisites for the FHIR integration.\n\n## Plugin information\n\n-   **New plugins**\n\n    The following plugins are new in Australia:\n\n    EMR Provider Directory Sync \\(`sn_hcls_emr_sync`\\): Keeps Healthcare Operations organization, location, practitioner, and care-team data in sync with a FHIR R4 server on a configurable schedule.\n\n\n## Related ServiceNow applications and features\n\n-   **HL7 FHIR Spoke**\n\n    Provides the read-only FHIR R4 Flow Designer actions that this application calls to read provider-directory data.\n\n\n**Parent Topic:**[Healthcare and Life Sciences release notes](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/release-notes/healthcare-life-sciences-rn-landing.md)\n\n"}}
