Define condition-based rules, with each rule containing multiple levels of approval.\n\n**Note:** Use the Approval rules module to configure approval rules for the exception management workflows. For information on configuring approval rules, see [Create approval levels for Exception Management in Configuration Compliance](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/security-management/configuration-compliance/cc-exception-mgt-config-approval-rule.md).\n\n## Procedure\n\n1. Navigate to **All** > **Configuration Compliance** > **Administration** > **Approval Rules**.\n\n2. Select an approval rule and navigate to the **Approval Configurations** tab.\n\n3. Select a configuration.\n\n4. On the form, fill in the fields.\n\n |Field|Description|\n |-----|-----------|\n |Name|Approval configuration name.|\n |Approval rule|Contains the table and type details for the approval rule.|\n |Order|Execution order of various configurations within a rule.
