Requires the relevant business rule to be active for CI creation to occur during asset insertion.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nReview reconciliation rules\n\n</td><td>\n\nEvaluates whether reconciliation rules correctly assign attribute ownership to the authoritative integration source for each principal CI class. Helps prevent lower-quality integration sources from overwriting high-quality CI attribute data, maintaining accuracy and consistency across the CMDB.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nReview CI classes without managed by group\n\n</td><td>\n\nShows principal CI classes that do not have a **Managed by group** field configured in CI Class Manager. Ownership data is critical for routing incidents, changes, and service requests to the correct team.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nSync managed by group\n\n</td><td>\n\nMakes sure that the managed by group field value syncs to CIs by checking whether the Sync managed by group business rule is active.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nReview custom attributes\n\n</td><td>\n\nMakes sure that custom attributes for each principal CI class are fewer than 10. A high number of custom attributes can increase maintenance overhead and reduce data quality consistency across the CMDB.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nReview Data Manager policies\n\n</td><td>\n\nAssesses the configuration of CMDB Data Manager policies, including archive, attestation, certification, delete, and retire, for your principal classes. Each policy type manages a specific life cycle action:-   **Archive**\n\nArchives inactive CIs without deleting them.\n\n-   **Attestation**\n\nValidates CI data or runs automated checks.\n\n-   **Certification**\n\nVerifies CI data for accuracy and readiness.\n\n-   **Delete**\n\nRemoves CIs based on defined criteria such as inactivity.\n\n-   **Retire**\n\nMarks CIs as retired when no longer in use.\n\n\n</td></tr></tbody>\n</table>**Related topics**  \n\n\n[Administer CMDB Data Manager](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/servicenow-platform/configuration-management-database-cmdb/administer-data-manager.md)\n\n"}}
