Explain and summarize code

Get a summary of the code or a comprehensive explanation of its functionality.

Before you begin

Role required: now.assist.creator

Procedure

1. Navigate to any script editor enabled with ServiceNow Otto for Code.

   For example, to open a script include form, navigate to All > System Definition > Script Includes and select a script include.

2. In the script editor, select a code and then select the Otto.

3. To understand the purpose of the code, select Summarize code.

4. From the Use Otto to list, select Explain code in detail to get a comprehensive explanation of the code’s functionality.
